This property rehabilitation project for the housing and community development organization Home HeadQuarters Inc. converted a blighted building into a taqueria with second floor worker-housing apartments. Exterior walls along the streetside were opened up to create a welcoming porch for diners while retaining the historic structure of the facade. A large mural by Eugene Stetz was incorporated into the mostly blank western facade that faces an urban art park.
