Walt, the Lock West Monster

Designed in collaboration with Industrial Design students at Syracuse University, Walt resides along Onondaga Creek which was the inspiration for its form. Like the creek, the serpent weaves in and out of the landscape. The friendly serpent calls upon people to notice this neglected waterway as a valuable ecology within the city.
